Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between you and Marvelle Palace, proprietor of marvellepalace.shop and regulate your use of the Store and every purchase of notebooks, writing pads, memo pads, easel pads and other paper products made through it. Your placing of an order signifies acceptance of these Terms in full. The Terms are read together with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

Clause 1 — Definitions

“Goods” means the stationery and paper articles listed in our catalogue; “Order” means a confirmed request to purchase Goods; “Store” means the website operated at marvellepalace.shop.

Clause 2 — Eligibility

You confirm that you are at least eighteen years of age and competent to contract and that the information supplied by you at checkout is true and complete.

Clause 3 — Product Description and Pricing

3.1 We describe the ruling, sheet count, dimensions and paper weight of each item as accurately as is practicable. Slight variation in shade or trim is inherent to paper goods and shall not be treated as a defect.

3.2 All prices are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable charges. We reserve the right to correct a price stated in manifest error before an Order is dispatched.

Clause 4 — Formation of Contract

Display of Goods is an invitation to offer. Your Order is an offer, which we may accept or decline. A contract is formed only upon our dispatch confirmation.

Clause 5 — Payment

Accepted methods are Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and Cash on Delivery only. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards or international wallets.

Clause 6 — Delivery, Returns and Cancellation

Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy; returns by our Refund and Returns Policy; cancellation by our Cancellation Policy. Each forms part of these Terms by reference.

Clause 7 — Acceptable Use

You shall not reproduce our catalogue images or text, place fraudulent Orders or use the Store in any manner contrary to law.

Clause 8 — Limitation of Liability

Our liability in respect of any Order is limited to the value of the Goods comprised in that Order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Clause 9 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
