A desk buried in scraps

It began with a desk buried under scraps. Our founder wrote everything down — calls, ideas, to-dos — on whatever loose paper was nearby, then lost half of it. The sticky notes he bought wouldn’t stick past lunchtime and curled off the monitor; the memo cubes were thin enough to read the note underneath. What he wanted was simple: a proper desk pad, notes that actually adhere, and a jotter that stays put. Across India that turned out to be surprisingly hard to buy well, so he began sourcing note paper, sticky pads and desk pads straight from makers who cared about adhesive and grammage.

The right note paper is invisible until you need it — it sticks and re-sticks, it doesn’t ghost, and there’s a pad within reach for every thought. Yet quality, sensibly-priced note paper sat oddly out of reach: weak-glue stickies and flimsy cubes on one end, boutique stationery on the other, with little for the working desk in between. Filling that middle — practical, dependable, fairly priced paper and pads — is why we exist.

Our Inspiration

After months of testing across India — which stickies still held after a week, which desk pads stayed flat, which cubes didn’t ghost — shaped our first Paper & Pads collection around one idea: a community of people who keep their thinking within arm’s reach, on paper that holds.
